Due to the current situation and in accordance with the instructions issued by the Regional Department of Health regarding the evolution of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Executive Council of the UIB has decided to suspend the Science for All fair planned to be held on 7th, 8th and 9th May 2020 on the UIB campus in Palma.
Despite this, the University Transition and Orientation Programme (PORT-UIB) has prepared a series of experiments that will be available at the following link: https://seras.uib.cat/ciencia/experiments_casa/. The aim is that during these days of lockdown students can practise some fun experiments at home to help them understand many of the phenomena they see daily. The simple experiments are designed to be done safely with everyday materials.
