Two associate lecturers on the Degree in Nursing at the UIB's Minorca campus are amongst the 27 health professionals being actively monitored due to having come into contact with the first Coronavirus patient on the island.

Both are in good health and have not shown any symptoms to date, although they will be spending the next fortnight isolated at home in accordance with health authority recommendations. Both lecturers have notified their students (18 in total) to reassure them and inform them about rescheduling classes.
