The UIB suspends exchanges for students, lecturers and admin staff for the first semester of the 2020-21 academic year

The suspension will particularly impact Erasmus and SICUE programmes

The UIB Executive Council has agreed to suspend the Erasmus+ and SICUE exchange programmes for students, teaching and research staff, and admin and services staff for the first semester of the 2020-21 academic year. It has taken this decision in light of the current health alert and state of emergency, which requires the UIB to act responsibly regarding members of the academic community and society in general.

The UIB will monitor to see whether the situation improves and do everything it can to ensure the planned mobility exchanges (inbound and outbound) can go ahead in the second semester of the coming academic year.

Affected students, tutors and mobility coordinators at the university have been notified. Remaining groups, as well as partner universities in the exchange programmes, will receive information in the coming days.

With regard to mobility in bilateral agreements signed by the UIB, those responsible for these exchanges will look into matters in order to reach an agreement.
