The UIB keeps student, PAS and PDI exchange programmes suspended for the first semester 2020-21

The UIB Executive Council decided this week to make a few modifications to the temporary suspension of exchange programmes in the 2020-21 academic year to those previously agreed and notified on 7th May.

The Executive Council has decided the following:

1.     Student, PDI and PAS exchange programmes managed by the International Relations Office will remain suspended, including the Erasmus+ programme.

2.     SICUE and DRAC student exchange programmes shall remain suspended in general. Nevertheless, SICUE or DRAC mobility to the university shall be allowed in the 2020-21 academic year for students who are residents from the Balearic Islands and have been granted the exchange by their home university.

3.     In turn, the UIB shall reciprocally and exclusively grant SICUE and DRAC mobility to universities located in the permanent place of residence of students who so request it.

4.     Mobility arising from bilateral agreements, double degrees, PhD joint supervision, etc. shall be renegotiated for the second semester by the parties, as much as possible.
