The Microcomputing Support Service reinstates face-to-face operations on the campus

This week the UIB Microcomputing Support Service is reinstating face-to-face operations.

Support will remain available over the usual communication channels, including face-to-face:

  • In-person in offices and across the campus
  • Over the phone: +34 971 17 3398
  • By e-mail: <suport.informatic@uib.es>
  • Over the website:
  • Via the contact form for incidents and/or support
  • Via creating a ticket on the CAU Portal-Jira

The User Service Centre is open from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm, although for the time being it will only offer face-to-face support from 8 am to 3 pm.

The Service reminds users that due to the exceptional circumstances, where face-to-face support is requested, the social distancing safety measures must be followed, including:

  • If an individual is being attended at the counter, the next-in-line must wait and maintain the recommended safety distance
  • Users must follow the instructions given by the technicians
  • In order to avoid long waits and service delays, you are recommended to call and request an appointment
  • Those who have requested an appointment shall be helped first followed by the rest in order of arrival.
