Study on lockdown and addictions amongst the academic community

The Office for Healthy and Sustainable University (OUSIS) at the UIB, in collaboration with the Regional Department for Health and Consumer Affairs, has implemented a study into lockdown and addictions amongst the academic community in the Balearic Islands, based around UIB student surveys.

Starting from the hypothesis that the lockdown may be a risk factor contributing to higher addictive behaviour, the study intends to find out how the situation affects the university community. In this sense, students are being asked to fill in a brief anonymous questionnaire: all answers are confidential and will be saved securely.

The questions refer to the last few weeks since the start of the lockdown and enquire into whom students are spending the lockdown with, if they are following any routine or whether the responder has increased his/her consumption of tobacco, alcohol, caffeine, energy drinks, cannabis or psychotropic drugs.

If you are a student and wish to take part in the survey, please click the following link.
