Instructions from the Office of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Teaching on adapting face-to-face teaching to online activities

The Pro-Vice Chancellor for Teaching at the University of the Balearic Islands has issued instructions on the action protocol to follow to adapt face-to-face teaching to remote activities in order to ensure equal rights and opportunities for all students in their assessments.

The University of the Balearic Islands action protocol on extraordinary measures, implemented to adapt to the temporary suspension of face-to-face teaching activities and approved by the Executive Council meeting in extraordinary session on 13th March 2020, set out that 'due to these exceptional circumstances, the assessment criteria and systems published in the course guides may be modified during the 2019-20 academic year to adapt them to the current situation, with a view to not penalising students [...]'.
